2011 Annual Report
Six Essential Questions

Since 2002, TEAM Schools has been preparing Newark's students for success in college and life beyond. Today, 83% of alumni have matriculated to college and over 1,500 students are in our four schools preparing to follow in their footsteps.

This year’s TEAM annual report tracks KIPP’s “Six Essential Questions” – carefully examining how our schools are doing on everything from serving kids who need us,
to supporting them to and through college.

Please help us continue to build on our success to date – enjoy our annual report
(above) and the videos (below), spread the word, and donate to our schools today.

Are we building a
sustainable financial model?

TEAM does more with less – sending 83% of our students off to college with a quarter less funding than the school district. TEAM’s efficiency is the result of a disciplined, student-focused approach to budgeting that minimizes administrative overhead and focuses dollars on serving students.  As you’ll hear from TEAM donor Tamara Robinson, TEAM’s plan to reach sustainability, its commitment to excellence and its consistency in delivering on its promises, have made it an ideal philanthropic investment – especially to someone who is coming from a financial analysis background and views all investments with that level of scrutiny.
